The Nik-n-Willies Story
It all began in 1985 in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Brad Schneider opened his first Nik-n-Willies Take-n-Bake pizza shop in Mammoth Lakes, California, naming his business for his two sons. Brad's concept was to provide his customers with the freshest, best-tasting pizza in town; a pizza that could easily be backed at home with friends and family, and served piping hot right out of your own oven... when you're ready to eat. Other Nik-n-Willies Pizza shops were opened in California, Nevada and Colorado ski towns over the next four years. Brad's life revolved around his love of the mountains, ski racing, and working in his pizza shops.
Tragically, Brad was killed in March of 1989, at the age of 32, in a ski accident at Snowmass, Colorado while preparing for a race. Over time his original Nik-n-Willies stores were sold to individual owners, many of them former employees and friends of Brad's. Yet each store continues to share in Brad's original recipes, his concepts and his commitment to quality.
Our goal is the same today as it was then; to provide you with the best-tasting and freshest pizza we can, along with friendly service, at a reasonable price. We know our pizzas are the best because we craft everything by hand! You'll taste the difference.
